In the Classifieds section of the website, Remanufactured Engine Mounts are advertised. Are these suitable for the Limousines and Saloons? May I ask the dimensions, please?

Steve

These engine mountings are (or were) in the Register's spares stores, so I think you will need to email Andy Wells about them. My understanding was that they were made as part of a small batch for some 25hp DHC's and that they are different to the standard 25hp saloons. No idea about the limousines though....

Hi all.
If the engine mounts in the Register's spares store were specially made for the Drop Head they may be the square mounts that go at the front of the engine for this model. The saloon (and therefore possibly the limo) had , I believe, the same round mounts front and rear. I have heard a rumour that these round mounts are the same as the Land Rover series 1 and now that Eric, one of the Wisbech Wolseley gang, has bought a set they certainly look very similar. We still haven't got round to changing the mounts on his 18/85 but the Land Rover units are easy to come by and reasonably priced so if they are interchangeable they would help to supply a Wolseley need.
Any comments?
Chris
