A fine line-up of five Wolseleys graced this year’s large stand at the Manchester Classic Car Show held at Event City over the weekend of 16th and 17th September. Centre stage was the 25 DHC once owned by Lord Nuffield, together with a 1300, 18/85S, 1500 and a 12/48 Coupé making for a fantastic display of our marque.
Our new stand dressing, comprising imitation grass, picket fencing and a new information desk, gave an air of professionalism to the stand. The show was another successful event with plenty of visitors and some excellent exhibits throughout the halls. David Simister, Editor of Classic Car Weekly, visited us on the Saturday and complimented us on the stand before taking a photograph for the motoring paper which then appeared in their next edition as part of their report on the show.
We intend to have a stand at next year’s show again, which will take place on 15th and 16th September 2018.
