2026 National Rally 15 – 16 August 2026

The 2026 National Rally is being held at Statfold Country Park, Ashby Road, Tamworth B79 0BU.  Being a central location, the rally is expected to attract entries from all over the UK while allowing local club members the opportunity to attend from home.  Although the main event is on Sunday 16 August, entrants are welcome to join us for the weekend as there are many local attractions.

The Sunday venue of Statfold Country Park is 5.5 miles from the Best Western Hotel, Appleby Park DE12 7AP where those requiring accommodation can make their base for the weekend.

The hotel lies just over the county border into Leicestershire and is located off Junction 11 of the M42, from where the A42 continues up to the M1.  Rooms are being held at the special rate of £75 per night double B&B or £65 single B&B rate for 13, 14, 15 & 16 August 2026.  Guests may book by Tel: 01530 279500 or Email: info@applebyparkhotel.com  quoting WOLSELEY REGISTER.  Card details will be requested but payment will only be taken on arrival.

Please note, Best Western Hotels do not contact guests via WhatsApp or send emails requesting customers to verify a reservation.  If in any doubt about a communication from Appleby Park, please report this to the hotel and do not click on any links in suspicious texts or emails.

An application Form for the Rally is being enclosed with all UK copies of the March/April issue (240) of Wolseley World.  A copy of the form can be downloaded here.

Online booking can be made below and payment of the £20 Rally fee can be made using this link.  We no longer accept cheques but payment can be made by Bank Transfer, Sum Up card payment link or via PayPal – please contact the eventsteam@wolseleyregister.co.uk to arrange or  if you have any queries.  Payment can also be made in person at Shows where the Events Team have a club stand.

This year’s form is simpler than usual as the Hotel are managing the Rally Dinner bookings but please indicate how many dinner places are being booked so we can be aware of numbers and liaise with the hotel regarding the Table Plan.

The Saturday evening Rally Dinner will be held at the Hotel with a maximum of 80 places available.  This is a social evening with announcements but no formal presentations.  The Hotel is managing the Rally Dinner bookings for which the menu is viewable here and summarised on the Application Form.  The hotel will contact entrants who have booked accommodation to ascertain their menu choices and payment for the meal will be made direct to the hotel.  Non-resident rally entrants should contact the hotel by telephone or email (as above) to book for the Rally Dinner.  Non-residents will be asked for dinner payments at the time of booking.  The hotel will advise when all the dinner spaces are booked and the Wolseley Register will draw up a Table Plan.

The entry fee covers the car and all occupants for the Sunday Static Rally.  Wristbands will be issued with the Rally Programme when that is mailed out in July.  On the day entries will be permitted with payment  being collected by the Rally Team who will issue wristbands to all occupants of the vehicle.

No specific activities have been arranged for the Saturday but if rally entrants wish to visit Statfold on Thursday 13th, Friday 14th or Saturday 15th August, half price admission can be booked online at www.statfold.com or paid on the gate, quoting the code: 50WOLSELEY26.  There is much to see and do at Statfold, all included in the admission: Heritage Railway rides; educational working railway museum; Vintage Fairground rides (tickets sold separately); outdoor park; mini golf; shop and café.

Details of other local attractions will be included in the Rally Programme including The National Memorial Arboretum, Tamworth Castle, Castle Donnington, Twycross Zoo and Drayton Manor.

Camping for tents, caravans or motorhomes is available at Statfold Country Park which has toilet and shower blocks and option of electric hook-up.  This is bookable direct with Statfold – for enquiries and booking ring 01827 830389. Pitches are from £25 per night with no electric hook up, if an electrical hook up is required it is an additional £5 per night. As the site is bookable by the public, pre-booking is essential.  Although the venue will be closed on Monday 17 August, campers will be able to access showers and toilets overnight on the Sunday.  Access to the campsite is by a separate entrance.

The 2026 National Rally application form covers personal and vehicle details whether for classic entry to the static rally or attending in a modern vehicle.  The fee will cover all admin costs including postage of the Rally Pack and a rally souvenir to be given out at the event.

Online booking will close on 1 August and advance entries by post will close on 8 August.  Entries received by 8 June will appear in the Rally Programme.  Later entries will be included in the judging process.  The Rally Programme will be mailed out in late July to all previously-booked UK entries.  Overseas entrants will be emailed a pdf of the Programme but can collect a hard copy on arrival at the event.   On the day entries will be accepted but advance booking is preferred.  Vehicles can arrive from 9:30 am up to 11:00 am.
