Car For Sale: 1955 Wolseley 6/90 series 1 *** NOW SOLD ***

23/01/2026 by Admin 2

1955 Wolseley 6/90 series 1
Body off chassis restoration in the 1990’s / 2000’s. Body work repaired, chassis and underside completely done. Exterior repainted in the original connaught green. Engine, clutch and gear box overhauled, and a new wiring loom fitted. Seats and door cards recovered with new grey leather, and new headlining fitted. Some modifications have been made with safety in mind. Front seat head restraints, which can be slotted out for shows. Seat belts front and rear, inertia reel at the front with matching grey belts and period buckles. Head lights upgraded, and indicator lights recently upgraded with flashing LED’s. A USB socket has been discretely fitted. A full electrical diagram has been maintained. Original spec cross ply tyres fitted, and are in good condition with a spare.

All original, bright parts are present, the only part missing is the badge in the middle of the front bumper.

Comes with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate, lots of spare parts including a spare gear box and rear axle.

The paintwork is starting to fade a little since the rebuild, and some small defects are starting to appear in the exterior paintwork work.

Car has done 15 000 miles since rebuild with no issues. Regularly serviced, with records. Recently the brakes has been overhauled again with new cylinders. Car has an MOT until June 2026

For sale as I am moving on to other projects, and need space.

£5500
