Urgent sale Wolseley 6/80.
No time wasters no silly offers.
Had an engine change to a 1.2 mgb engine by the mgb hub cost 8500 a
year ago and have the paper work. The car still has all the old
linkage in the engine bay so the original engine could be easily
fitted back in if sourced. Good to average condition £4200 ono.

This may well be the most original Wolseley Six remaining. It has covered 20,000 miles from new and is unrestored. The Damask Red paint is that with which the car left the factory. In superb order throughout and winner of a concours award at the Wolseley Register National Rally in 2016.
The engine, a straight six ohc of 2200cc, is turbine-smooth. Wolseley used a foam-backed nylon upholstery for the wearing surfaces of the Six’s seats which has not lasted well however little the cars have been used. I had this replaced with high-grade leather, carefully colour-matched to the rest of the interior. This ‘upgrade’ apart, the interior is totally original. Carpets are unmarked and the wood veneers are in excellent order.
Known history from new. The car was laid-up from 1991 to 2016 but has been carefully recommissioned and has covered 3000 miles in the last two years, so that all issues resulting from the lay-up have been addressed.
If you want a Wolseley Six, I don’t think you will find better. If you were thinking of an 18/85, come and be charmed by a Six which is much more refined and has the engine this bodyshell was designed for.
Found – I am back in the market for a classic car and would like to find a good useable 1500 – it doesn’t have to be concours just a sound car in good running order which can be bought and driven home. Happy to travel up to 100 miles to see the right car.

For Sale: Wolseley 14/60 series 3. Year 1946. Reg HAL 649. Has been owned by the family since 1965 and used throughout the summer months for days out and car rallies.
The car is in quite good condition generally and suitable to exhibit at vintage car shows in its present condition. There are small areas of the paint work around the edges of the mud guards and rear number plate/spare wheel compartment that could be improved making the car look really good. The engine was overhauled 20 years ago, new pistons/liners, valves/guides and bearings throughout and is quite powerful and dose not burn oil and has good oil pressure when hot.
There is one small problem, a crack in the side of the cylinder block, which was covered by a copper patch many years ago, this weeps a little water but dose not affect the operation or performance of the engine, this should have been metal stitched years ago. This could be carried out with the engine in position as it is easy to gain access by removing the exhaust manifold and carburettor’s. The car will be sold with a years MOT test cert.
A large quantity of spare parts re included in the sale of the car as follows:
1 x cylinder block

For Sale. 16/45 requiring full restoration. First registered in August 1931. Converted to a pick-up in the late 1930s or early 1940s from what appears to have been a fabric-bodied saloon. Mechanically complete, & with all the original instruments except the clock, nothing appears to have been altered or modernised apart from the body. Last tax ran out in December 1947. Obviously dry stored since then as there is no serious corrosion evident. Original registration on V5C document. more pictures available on request.
£5250 Price negotiable, any offers considered.

I have a front red passenger seat from a 1966 6/110 which I can’t bear to take to the tip. The frame is in good nick and with some TLC the leather is restorable.
Free to good home !!!. I had visions of installing it in our lounge but my wife wasn’t impressed. The reclining mechanism works also
