I just removed the old battery that probably has not been renewed for years, in order to replace it.

But where can I buy a replacement battery? Seems impossible to find here in Sweden.

Hi Mats

I remember looking for one of these sorts of batteries for one of my cars back in the 1980’s and I had difficulty eben then. I finally found one in a jewellers / clock repair shop. But I would be surprised if any clock shops had any now as batteries have got smaller.

I don’t know what other owners have done, but my guess is that you will need to find a suitable battery (12v?) of a more modern size and modify the fitment in your clock in order to connect it up.

This battery looks very similar to one I had in a 1969 Jaguar 420G, some years ago. I was able to get a replacement from S N G Barratt, the Jaguar parts specialist. I have had a look at their website and have come up with Part no C27103. This sells for around £10.
