We know of a 34′ Special, reg. NJ 3452, but it is now maroon according to the DVLA. Unfortunately it is not owned by a member of our club and so we have no idea of its location. However, the owner could be a member of the Wolseley Hornet Special Club, so it might be worth contacting them.

Back in 1980, the Hornet, a Whittingham & Mitchel bodied International was in Thirsk, North Yorks.
Owned by a Police Sergeant, Paul Brown who was too tall to drive it with the seat base installed!
Paul, (incidentally my best man when I got married), emigrated to New Zealand in 1995.
To the best of my knowledge, he took the car with him.
The attached picture is of my International, one chassis number earlier.
