Hello everyone.
I have recently acquired a Wolseley 4/44 complete but minus the V5 document. I was led to believe it is of 1952 manufacture and, wondered if it is known to the club via a previous owner or, if anyone can confirm its age from reg. or chassis numbers.
Reg. JJY 826
Car no. NAB14/13517
Engine. 13488
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and regards Dave.

Hi Dave,
I don’t have access to any production records but what I can tell you is it would appear from the numbers quoted that your car is from the first year first year of 4/44 production 1954.
It’s not recorded at DVLA so you would have to apply to retain the registration number. You will need some documentation e.g. old tax disc or log book to back up the claim and the Wolseley Register as a DVLA approved club can be of assistance by inspecting the car, verifying it’s existence and confirming the numbers for the application.
Graham.

Hello Dave
I have checked the Register’s list of recorded vehicles, and I am afraid that yours does not appear to be on there, so it is a new one for us. I would therefore recommend that you do as Stuart and Graham suggests above, and speak to either Clive or David to see if they can help you with obtaining a new V5.
Regards
Bob
