Hi all,
My father worked at Ford Dagenham but always bought Austin and, finally, a Wolseley 18/85 which I also drove as a spotty 17 year old, including a blast on the autobahn en route to Poland where my enduring memory is of me slowly overtaking and, out of nowhere, a green Mercedes 450SEL zooming right up behind me headlamps flashing away! Great car, burgundy with a blue leather interior. After my father died in 89 (he always kept cars for a long time) I think a dealer took it but I’m not sure of it’s fate although probably scrapped it would be interesting to know if it’s still about by some miracle. Number plate: JMG 149K.
Thanks

The car is unfortunately not known to the Register, but it does still exist on the DVLA database, currently being on sorn.
