Hello every one.
The purchase of the 39 Wolseley 10 has gone through and I am happy with the car.
My name is Tom and Live in Sth Yorkshire UK . Just bought the Wolseley from a register member and have got it home. I have not had the chance to give it an in depth inspection but what I have seen I do like. I have a love of old motors and motorcycles, I was a motorcycle mechanic when first leaving school , then a AA patrolman for many years and now working in the chemical industry. I have a welder…..how lucky was that?? and looks like it is about to get some use.
I think the clubs do a brilliant job of helping owners keeping machines on the road and subscribe to quite a few of them.
The one thing that did make me think as I first sat in the car ” this car was first registered in July 1939 did the first owner who sat there before me realise what was to happen in September , two months and the world would be a different place”. Amazing.
