I have just discovered the Register arising from making a Google search about the 1946 Wolseley Reg. KVX757 as used in the TV series “Foyle’s War”.
Ex-Police 6/90, Reg. TUL906 was once in our family for some years : Is that part of its history of interest to anyone in ‘The Register’?
It was purchased by my father around 1961, from a car auction at the former Alexandra Palace railway station (the original one, at the Palace, not the present day one), replete with large hexagonal-headed bolts in the boot lid and the front of the roof, where attached police equipment had been removed. He purchased a replacement vehicle around roughly 1968 I’d guess. I ‘m sorry but I don’t recall what happened to TUL906.
Oh well, I just wondered. (I myself owned Wolseley 1500 [1959?] Reg. SNR33 from approx. 1971 to 1973.)

Thanks for your post! Unfortunately TUL 906 no longer exists. In fact, to the Register’s knowledge, there is only one remaining genuine ex police 6/90 left in existence. (Requiring a huge restoration, it isnow owned by a Register member).
It would seem that your 1500 no longer exists either, at least not with that registration number.
Only nine months late; Many thanks for your reply Bob.
Interesting, but unsurprising information about TUL906. A rear view of the actual vehicle being driven in London (Walthamstow?) if I recall correctly, appears in old book titled “A Silence of Trolleybuses”.
Not at all surprised if SNR33 does not exist. When we parted company it had a notable problem (rear spring coming through the boot floor).
