I have seen your new membership record and your car record, and I know your 18/85, having helped its earlier owner with spares and advice several years ago. The member was quite well known in the Register, and I met him and looked at his car when we had a tour of Ireland in 2016.
As a member of the Register, you would now do better posting any queries on the members forum rather than the public forum. I think the sales pitch for the auction was a little incorrect, as there are a lot more than 8 18/85’s in existance – you can see them all on the LoRV which is on the website in the members area.

I,ve just retired from running my motorcycle shop for 38 years and looking forward to getting use of the car now that I finally have time. Had a number of 40,s cars down the years but too busy to drive them . From here on I will use the members forum. Thanks again, Joe
