Mike Howson is trying to trace the whereabouts of a Series II 12/48, reg no TL 5586. This car was last known in North Wales and apparently was used in the film Captain Corelli’s Mandolin. The car has a family connection for Mike. Please contact Mike directly on 01526 388680.

One means of discovering if the car is still around, other than through the LoRV and current members is on the DVLA web-site. The link for searching the current status of car can be found here:

select ‘Vehicle Enquiry’.
For the registration number TL 5586, is shows that it was last registered in 2001 and is not currently on SORN. It does not mean that it has necessarily been scrapped, but it is not currently road legal in the UK.
