Hello, My wife and I were married in 1971 and our first car was a Wolseley 1500 Mk III, which we had bought second hand, from Caffyns Garage in Horsham, West Sussex, just prior to our wedding. It was a wonderful car and over the years it took us from John o’ Groats to Lands End. We recall one very foggy night having to take my parents out in very inclement weather, just so my dear Mum could watch the milometer go round the clock!!
The registration number was CPO 860B … which we have so far been unable to trace. Does anyone have any knowledge of this car, we would love to know if she is still being used. As we are coming up to our Golden Wedding Anniversary in May of this year we would love to buy another one as a joint wedding anniversary present! I am not a mechanic and it would have to be a car in Concours condition . We today bought a Classic Car magazine and although we could not find one for sale, it gave us a guide price for one in the condition we require. It would be wonderful if anyone could help please. We do hope that we get a favourable reply, and say thank you in anticipation!

Thank you for posting your query on our website. I am afraid that CPO 860B is not known on our list of recorded vehicles, neither does it exist on the DVLA website, so unfortunately, we probably have to assume that it no longer exists.
If you are looking for a Wolseley, the best place to start is to look on our own Classifed adverts on our website, (it is open to the public!). Indeed there is a nice looking 1500 for sale on it right now.
