Hi, Stephen,
When Earlpart ceased trading they were taken over but as far as I know the company has not got a web site up and running or started trading.
Apart fron N.T.G. Earlpart were the only company that specialised in the supply of Farina parts. The only other thig to do is to keep a look out on Ebay.
Sorry I can’t be more help.
Graham.

Stephen, Graham

The Earlpart business has been taken over by Longridge Motor Spares, which is owned by David Kingerley (phone 07495 443549). He is still using the Earlpart website for a while, and their Farina catalogue does list a dust cover, although I dont know if this is the one you want. David plans to merge his own stock with Earlparts to create an even bigger company, although he is not continuing with the Classic Exhausts. So definitely worth trying them.

You may also try Macs Factors, owned by member Andrew MaAdam, (phone 01553 841252, or mobile 07783763549).

Good Luck!
Bob

Thanks Bob, I’m afraid I wasn’t up to speed on this.

Thanks to you all for your help. Longbridge motor parts have been very helpful but unfortunately don’t have a dust cover. I am now trying Macs factors. Fingers crossed.

Stephen try Keith at Balby Motor Spares 01302 858805 or 07760 280869. They are breaking 12 Farinas and may have a shell withe the bulkhead grommet still in place, worth a phone call.

Hi Stephen.
I’ve just had a word with a banger racing friend of mine and last weekend he raced an Oxford. He tells me he fully stripped the car before the race and all parts are available. Could you give me a better idea of what you mean by a “steering column dust cover” and I’ll see if he can help out.
Best regards.
Chris.

Hi Chris
It is called a bulkhead grommet for the steering column. Its the rubber gasket between the steering column and the bulkhead for a manual drive.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Stephen,
I think I have the grommet you are after attached to a steering column i bought a few years ago (see photos). If this is the right one you are welcome to it but it’s not in great condition as you can see. I could have a word with my friend if you would be interested in sourcing a better condition specimen.

As new owners and members of the club can we thank you all for being so proactive.
