The Morris Register are staging their “60th Anniversary Plus 1” event at their traditional venue of Thoresby Park, Nottinghamshire in August this year. (Government guidelines permitting). This event will also host the Morris Vehicles Association (MVA) Rally.
Member Clubs of the MVA will be allocated dedicated areas and are co-ordinating entries for their own members. Entry fees for the whole weekend are £6 per person and camping is available for tents/caravans or motorhomes at £7 per unit per night.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION (National Rally 2021 – Morris Register)
The Morris Register was formed in 1960 and to mark their 60th anniversary there is a 1960’s theme to the weekend. There will be a bar and food on site all weekend and there will be an autojumble.
Social evening in the marquee with bar open from 6 pm – 11 pm and live music
Curry night from 7 pm

Bar open 12:00 noon – 11 pm
Road run starting at 1pm will cover around 35 miles of the Nottinghamshire countryside. There will be a stop at a private classic car collection of around 20 cars from 1906 onwards.
The gymkhana will start around 3pm and participants will be competing for a trophy. There will be several driving tests/games set out on the rally field and competitors will be scored on each of the tests.
A social evening in the marquee with a Beatles tribute act as part of the entertainment.

Thoresby Colliery Band playing between 1pm and 3pm after which there will be pause to remember those members and friends lost in the last 2 years before commencing with the prize-giving including the MVA trophy.
Official finish is 4pm. Those camping overnight may stay until noon on Monday at the latest.
