The 2022 MVA Rally, including the Wolseley Register, was held on 25th and 26th June 2022, and hosted by the Morris Minor Owners Club at their National Rally in the grounds of Kelmarsh Hall, Northamptonshire. Hundreds of Morris Minors were joined by a selection of vehicles from Morris-related clubs for the windy weekend. Many arena events and attractions for all the family were laid on.
The Wolseley Register welcomed Members from across the UK who were able to indulge their Morris and Wolseley passions. Two new Members joined the Register over the weekend and the Regalia gazebo provided shade, shelter and space for Members and their families to gather.
All 3 versions of the Wolseley 1500 were displayed, alongside a 1948 Wolseley Eight from Dorset and a Wolseley 6/80 from Leicestershire. The Wolseley Eight was justly awarded second place in the non-Morris category.
Another Register Member transported a rare Wolseley Six Limo down from Scotland to support the Landcrab Owners Club International who were holding their National Rally at the event. The Morris Register also fielded a good display of vehicles for the MVA Rally line up.
The 2023 MVA Rally will be hosted by the MMOC on 1/2 July at the Chateau Impney near Droitwich, Worcestershire, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the post-war Morris Minor. Application details will be posted as soon as available.
