All Register members are invited to enjoy a long weekend in the Scottish Borders this June. Following on from successful rallies here in 2017 and 2019, we have once again chosen the Hydro Hotel in Peebles for our base. This is an elegant Edwardian hotel 23 miles south of Edinburgh (EH45 8LX).
Join us for 2, 3 or 4 nights between Friday 5th June and Monday 8th June. On the Saturday we shall organise a wee road run to include some of the Borders ruined abbeys. On Sunday we will celebrate the Scottish Region’s 30th Anniversary by displaying our cars at Thirlestane Castle. This is a large event organised by the Borders Vintage Automobile Club hosting up to 1200 entrants. Will you help us get to 30 Wolseleys for our 30th? Monday will be ‘at leisure’, with a couple of lighter options offered to entice you to stay on.
Thirlstane Car Show:

The ever popular Thirlestane classic car show will be held on Sunday June 7th this year.
As mentioned above we will be taking a stand to celebrate 125 years of Wolseley and 30 years of the Scottish group. Our aim is to have THIRTY Wolseleys on the stand, covering as many models as possible.
If you do not wish to stay at the Hydro but instead want to attend the car show on the Sunday, and be on our stand in this our anniversary year, then please let Mark McCafferty know. Mark needs to know the Model of Wolseley and Registration Number that you will display.
The return needs to be submitted to the show organisers by 7 March so if you would like to attend then please let Mark know by 1 March.
