Wolseley Register 60th Anniversary Past Regional Events

Below is information on the events that have been held, and links to the regional reports. We are delighted to have welcomed so many members to these shows throughout the country.

The North West group celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Wolseley Register at the Tudor mansion Gawsworth Hall in Cheshire, SK11 9RN

The first of two North East England activities for the 60^th Anniversary took place over the weekend of 25th and 26th May 2024 with three excursions based around the Forest and Vale Hotel, Pickering.

The South & West Wales region held a special weekend away to celebrate the Register’s 60th anniversary. Both local and members from further afield, joined the weekend, with some travelling long distances, including from Exeter, Cumbria and even Scotland!

The East Anglia Region organised a weekend event which included visits to two fascinating venues.

The Scottish group had a club stand at the Scottish Transport Extravaganza event held in the magnificent grounds of Glamis Castle, Forfar.

The South West group of the Wolseley Register staged a club stand at the Market Lavington Vintage Meet, Wiltshire, SN10 4NT.  Three early Wolseleys graced the stand on Saturday 20th and although only one was able to return on 21st, two other Wolseleys were present in the main field – a 6/110 and a 6/80 illustrating Police livery.  Sadly, two other Wolseleys which had been booked for the Show were unable to attend the event.

The North East group organised a Dales Road run on Saturday followed by Ripon Classic Car Gathering on Sunday.

The East Midlands group celebrated the 60th Anniversary at the Earls Barton Transport Show, Northampton, NN6 0EP.

The Midlands group celebrated the 60th Anniversary with a weekend tour starting in Ludlow, Shropshire. This was a successful weekend finale to the regional events marking the 60th Anniversary of the Wolseley Register.
