Wolseley Register National Rally 2022

Plans for our Wolseley Register National Rally 2022 are forging ahead for a full weekend of activities from 18-22 August and based at Woodland Grange, Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire CV32 6RN. This is also the venue for the 2022 Annual General Meeting on the Saturday in the late afternoon.

Online applications are most welcome from Members and non-Members below, but a paper application form can be downloaded here, and one was also enclosed with UK copies of Wolseley World issue 215.  All payments can be made in one secure transaction through this website.  Please complete a separate application for each car entered.  Additional copies can be downloaded from the website or requested from eventsteam@wolseleyregister.co.uk   To help the Rally Organisers plan the weekend activities, please advise your accommodation arrangements when known.

Woodland Grange is our 2022 accommodation centre
Woodland Grange Hotel

Woodland Grange is a Conference Centre hotel set in its own grounds, less than two miles north of Leamington Spa on the A452 and seven miles from Junction 15 of the M40. Rally entrants may choose to stay one or more nights between Thursday 18th and Monday 22nd August.

Special rates have been negotiated for Thursday/Friday/Saturday and Sunday nights, as required, with no supplements for single occupancy.  Up to 50 rooms are being held at:
£72 per person per night for Dinner, Bed & Breakfast;
£59 per person per night for Bed & Breakfast only.
(Some rooms have an additional pull-out bed if a family room is required – £30 DB&B per night per child aged 6-12 years).
All these rates are inclusive of VAT, and additional nights either side of the Rally weekend can be booked at the same special rates.
Dinner bookings include tea or coffee each evening.

The venue has 114 bedrooms, each with complementary WiFi and tea/coffee making facilities.  The sauna is currently closed indefinitely owing to Covid safety issues, however, the gym and games room are available with sanitising stations.  Assistance dogs only are allowed on site and there is lift access to the upper floors.  Reserved parking areas will be available with some accessible spaces outside the main entrance.

Rally entrants should book their accommodation direct with Woodland Grange, quoting “163979 – Wolseley Register”:
Tel: 01926 336621
Email: enquiries@makevenues.co.uk
Do NOT book online as this will not generate the specially negotiated room rates.
(Full pre-payment will be taken when booking but this would be fully refundable up to 48 hours prior to the booked date.  One night only bookings are acceptable).
Thursday or Friday evening meals: individual tables in the Restaurant can be booked on arrival and menu choices made on the night. Prices are included in the DB&B rates.

Saturday evening Rally Dinner: will be held in a private room with a choice from the following 3 options across 3 courses and is inclusive of tea/coffee:

Menu options for all diners for the Rally Dinner and payments for non-resident meals on Saturday and/or Sunday will be collected in advance by the Wolseley Register.  Please advise of any dietary requirements.  Menu choices can be given on the online booking form below and payments can be made using the Rally Dinner shop product. Menu choices can also be given on the paper application form and fees for non-resident meals included with payment by cheque.

Other Accommodation options:
It is hoped that most rally entrants will choose to stay at Woodland Grange but alternative hotel or B&B accommodation is available in the area and camping/caravanning is available at Hatton Country World (our Sunday rally venue). This can either be on the Rally field (open to all) at £12 per unit per night, or there are 5 Certified Location pitches at £21.95 bookable by Caravan & Motorhome Club members only at  https://camping.hattonworld.com/certified-location/.  The rally field has mains water and a chemical disposal point on site, with 24-hour access to the toilet block near the rally field, but no shower facilities. Site fees for pitch bookings on the rally field are payable to Wolseley Register and will be collected with the rally entry fee.
