Wolseley Register Spring Tour – 16-18th April 2021

Looking for somewhere to get 2021 off to a flying start ? Then join your fellow club members at the premier venue in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales!

The Wolseley Register has booked rooms at the Fat Lamb and invites members to join us for a fantastic Spring Tour of classic car driving around the quiet roads of this part of Cumbria.

The Fat Lamb Country Inn lies on the crossroads of Ravenstonedale, Sedbergh and Kirkby Stephen, offering high quality bed and breakfast accommodation and good food.Situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and a short drive form the Lake District, this friendly 4 star inn makes a superb base for exploring these two popular holiday areas, or the lesser known North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The scenery all around the Fat Lamb is quite simply fantastic, and very varied. The differing characters of the Dales on one side and the Howgills on the other make this an excellent base for countryside lovers and classic car owners.

We have a good selection of optional activities from which members can choose. The Fat Lamb has a number of pre-planned driving tours available, or members can choose their own preferred venues, or even do a spot of walking!

For example, we could go to the Wensleydale Creamery, the Tan Hill Inn with a drive over the famous Buttertubs scenic route, as well as visiting Bolton Castle. A trip down Dentdale
might be more to club members liking, or a trip to visit Sedburgh, and the surrounding Westmorland Fells, or a hike up to Cautley Spout for the more adventurous amongst us.

All accommodation at the Fat Lamb are double rooms, and as a group, we will enjoy the following discounted rates:

  • 2 nights dinner, bed and breakfast at £280.00 per couple (sharing one room)
  • 2 nights dinner, bed and breakfast at £200.00 per single room occupancy.

Please book directly with the pub (015396 23242) and quote ‘Wolseley Register’ to obtain  the group rate. (Should the Fat Lamb be fully booked, please email Colin for a list of alternative nearby accommodation).

Please email either Colin Briggs or Andrew McAdam if you have any queries, and also to let them know that you have booked.
